VENUS IN THE GARDEN

VENUS IN THE GARDEN

Venus is one of 2 young female Great Danes we recently took in.

Venus and Serena are our newest addition to GDROC. They are about 8 months old and were found by a good samaritan abandoned in a tennis court. We were contacted to intervene on their behalf and the girls were transferred to GDROC after fulfilling the mandatory stray hold for 10 days at a shelter in Richmond. These girls have been through a lot in their few short months and have the scars and wounds, both physical and emotional to prove it.

Update:

Venus is healthy now and looking for her fur-ever family!  She has really come out of her shell since coming into rescue and would love a home with another dog that loves to play as much as she does.  Venus is now 6 months old.

Venus now has a blog here where you can read about her daily adventures!

Update:  11-11-2014

Venus is going great!  Look at the last photo below from our recent meet & greet event.  She is growing big and really doing well.

Update:  12-10-2014

Venus is still looking for her fur-ever home.  Check out this recent video of dinner time!
