Violet -- ADOPTED!!!
Violet is a 1-1/2 year old female Great Dane with a blue brindle color. She is already spayed, up to date on vaccinations and already has her stomach tacked (to help prevent bloat).
As any dog would be, she was timid when she was passed off by her owner but that quickly changed at the foster home. She immediately let our volunteers give her a spa treatment (nail clipping) as she basked in the sun of her new foster yard. Her nails appeared to have not been groomed often, if ever, but with a weekly trimming they will look as beautiful as she does! She also did great with a bath. Violet really enjoys running around in the backyard with her foster Dane brother, Moo, and she has proven faster than him even though he is not even 7 months old yet. She really has a great personality. Violet is crate trained to enjoy her private space and also knows that she is supposed to potty outside which she does great with. Violet learned on day one, not to pull the leash wearing the correct collar for her. She is very polite when she takes her daily neighborhood walks. Violet has shown to be a loving, playful girl. She is living with another Great Dane, but does not live with cats.
Violet attaches quickly to her human family and would most enjoy a quiet home without a lot of extra activity. She will not be placed in a home with children under the age of 12.
