A 1-year-old Great Dane is looking for his forever home!
With just a few short weeks of proper nutrition and exercise, Lincoln gained enough weight to be able to undergo neuter surgery. He’s now ready to find his forever home! He’s got a super sweet personality and that eternal puppy face. He loves his daily walks and enjoys cuddling with his canine foster sister and foster parents. Lincoln would do best in a home with another canine companion. We are unsure how he is with cats as he has not been around them. Also, best with children over the age of 12, he’s not displayed any adversity to younger children, just hasn’t ever been around them for long periods of time.
Lincoln has gained some much needed weight and is scheduled for his neuter. As soon as he heals from that, Lincoln will officially be ready for adoption.
Since Lincoln came into foster care, we have learned a few things about him. He is a spunky young Dane who needs a family willing to work on his continued training. He is learning, but needs more time for leash manners, has been okay with medium sized dogs (cats unknown). The best home for Lincoln will be one with no children under the age of 12 and someone who is home a lot. To no surprise, Lincoln does not like crates so will need a safe place during his times alone.
This is Lincoln, a 1 year old male. He has lived an unfortunate life and spent most of his time in a crate and severely malnourished. Despite that, he has an endearing personality and quickly wags his tail and leans for attention. He has been vetted and placed in a foster home. Over the past few weeks, he has put on some weight and will be neutered soon. He is almost ready for adoption.
When Lincoln first came in, he was quite underweight. You can click on the images to enlarge.
